JCC Maccabi Games® 2012 Team Fort Lauderdale Delegations
This past summer, close to four thousand Jewish teens from all over the U.S., Canada, Israel, Mexico, Great Britain and Hungary shared in the fun of competing and the pride of being part of a world-famous Olympic-style event filled with Jewish content and values. The host community for the 2012 JCC Maccabi Games® was Memphis, TN.
The JCC Maccabi Games® have been offering a life-and-personality-shaping experience to Jewish teenagers since 1982. At this Jewish mini-Olympiad, each athlete has the chance to participate in one of 14 sporting events. This year 94 athletes from Team Fort Lauderdale competed in the 2012 JCC Maccabi Games® in Memphis, TN. They competed in baseball, basketball, dance, track & field, lacrosse, soccer and swimming and brought home over 100medals.
