Nicole Boudreau
                                                                             
Nicole is our Sports and Wellness Director. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and health promotion.  Nicole has many years of experience in the fitness industry. She loves to work with children of all ages. Her focus is to decrease the obesity rate in children and help them gain confidence in themselves.  Nicole played sports throughout her life and enjoys creating workout plans based on the individual's interest.

Ysaac Kaplan
                                                                                         
Ysaac is our fitness coordinator. An athlete for as long as he can remember, Ysaac has a high success rate in helping clients reach their physical goals. Ysaac says "the passion to help others in the fitness industry has and always will be my life. I'm a strong believer in the fight against obesity." Ysaac specializes in correcting blood profiles like high blood pressure, high cholesterol and type 2 diabetes. He teaches Spinning for kids, teen Spin and adult Spin. Ysaac created a registered program called "Power Abs" that is taught here at the David Posnack JCC.

Risa Spevack   
Risa is our evening fitness supervisor. She graduated from Hofstra University with a bachelor's degree in natural science and athletic training.  Risa was in competitive gymnastics for 13 years and has experience as a gymnastics coach for preschool through competitive team levels.  She also has over 15 years experience in the evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and is also an instructor for clients with special needs.

Sharon Barten                                                                                
Sharon has over 20 years experience as a personal trainer and fitness instructor. Her classes include water aerobics, low impact classes, early morning abs, back and stretching, senior fitness and personal training for all levels.  Sharon has been part of the DPJCC family for more than 20 years, and is one of our most popular instructors.

Jon Broit                                                                                                                                              
Jon graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor of science degree in exercise science.  Upon graduation, he became a strength and conditioning coach in the Cardinals baseball organization.  Jon has over four years of training experience and is also involved in specialized sports coaching for children, some as young as 2 years-old.  Jon's main priority is to learn a client's goal, set up a plan of attack and deliver results. His workout programs are designed to help his clients either lose weight, gain lean muscle mass or just develop an appreciation for working out and living a healthy lifestyle.

Mark Degan                                                                                                                  
Mark graduated from New Jersey's William Paterson University with a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology.  He has over 15 years of experience in clinical exercise and personal training.  Mark has worked with both young children and older adults and believes that everyone is capable of participating in a safe and effective exercise program.

Dana Horowitz                                                                                                                                        
Dana has been a personal trainer with the DPJCC for over six years. She graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor of science degree.  She is a physical therapy assistant (PTA) with a specialization in aquatic therapy.  Dana enjoys working with all types of clients, but particularly those who need a little extra care.  Strength and flexibility are essential components of her workouts.

Scott Rapoport                                                                                                                             
Scott graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a bachelor of science degree.  He has over 16 years of fitness training and coaching experience.  He has an extensive soccer background  including several years with USISL semi-professional soccer league and years of experience working with children of all ages in sports-related programs. Scott is an experienced personal trainer whose sessions include strength training, cardiovascular/endurance training, functional/core based training and flexibility training.

Reynaldo Rivero                                                                                                               
Reynaldo has extensive experience training male and female clients from all backgrounds including seniors and athletes. He utilizes methods from martial arts, sports, gymnastics, yoga and dance to help clients achieve significant improvements in strength, flexibility, balance and endurance.  Reyni has had great success with back, knee, shoulder, neck, and ankle dysfunctions and weakness. He is an enthusiastic student of muay thai and the grappling arts and many other physical disciplines. Strength with flexibility and core strength are part of every workout.

Julia Steiner                                                                                                                       
Julia is a functional fitness trainer dedicated to the pursuit of a healthier lifestyle at any age.  Educated as a writer and communications specialist at the University of Michigan, she entered the fitness industry later in life, fueled by a passion for good health and quality of life.  After mentoring for three years with certified trainer Reynaldo Rivero, the two co-created "Bouncing Off the Walls," an after-school fitness program for children in grades 1–5.  Julia sees clients of all ages who are interested in a fun, dynamic approach to losing weight, gaining balance, strength and flexibility.

Steve Van Zandt
Steve graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor of science degree. Prior to his career as a personal trainer, Steve was a sergeant in the U.S. Army. In 2001 he left the military, but took his discipline, determination and motivation with him and applied it to his passion for the health and fitness industry. Steve has since worked alongside some of the world’s top experts in the field and has trained numerous elite level NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB athletes.
