The 2023 JCC Maccabi Games® and Access returns to Broward County and the David Posnack JCC August 6-11, 2023. We look forward to welcoming over 1,500 Jewish teens, ages 12-16, from all across the globe for a week of athletic competition, community service, and social events, an experience that unites the local community with the help of volunteers, host families, and sponsors. Take a look back at our first time hosting the Games in 2015 and join us in the countdown to 2023! WE GOT NEXT.
Over 1,000 community volunteers are needed to help plan, facilitate, and execute JCC Maccabi Games® and Access. Depending on your interest, abilities, and schedule, we can cater volunteer shifts to best fit you. Volunteers are needed leading up to the games as well as the week of the games from August 6-11, 2023.
Host families are an unique and integral part of the JCC Maccabi Experience as they offer teens traveling from across the world a Jewish “home away from home." As a host family, connect with friends and neighbors and build a special bond with the visiting teens that will extend even after the week of the games.
The JCC Maccabi Torch will make its way around South Florida visiting local synagogues, Jewish organizations, and community events starting in the Fall of 2022. The 2015 Torch Relay stopped at close to 100 destinations including Jewish Heritage Night at a Miami Heat game, Chanukah on Las Olas, Toys in the Sun Run, and so much more.
Keep an eye out to see where the 2023 JCC Maccabi Games® & Access Torch will appear this year so you can feel the flame...
The 2023 JCC Maccabi Games® & Access will bring more than 10,000 athletes, coaches, and spectators from all over the world, including Great Britain, Australia, Mexico, Canada, Argentina, Poland, Israel, and Venezuela. The impact of your support extends well beyond those directly involved in the Games, to the children and families served by participating athletes through the JCC Cares community service projects during the week of the Games.
