The Prosserman JCC and Schwartz/Reisman Centre are thrilled to officially announce Toronto as a host site for the 2026 JCC Maccabi Games ®!

The Richard Cohen Memorial Scholarship Fund
The fund was created with a goal of providing qualifying teenagers the opportunity to participate in the JCC Maccabi Games. For more details on how to apply for a scholarship, please contact ftlauderdalemaccabi@dpjcc.org

Want to represent Team Fort Lauderdale in 2026?
Pre-registration for 2026 is now open. Please note sports may vary next year and team sports will require tryouts. Coaching opportunities available for all sports. Athletes must register online prior to tryouts. All individual sports are first come first served by pre-registering and we will contact you. No tryout necessary. 

Compete in athletic competition and embrace the Experiences’ Midot Values including Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World) and Amiut Yehudit (Jewish Peoplehood). 

As a JCC Maccabi athlete, you will: 

• Join the rich tradition of the Games
• March in the Parade of Delegations at Opening Ceremony 
• Compete in a week-long, Olympic-style sporting competition versus delegations from across the world 
• Participate in JCC Cares community service project 
• Receive Team FTL swag including an Opening Ceremony uniform, backpack, team jerseys, shirts, trading pins, and so much more 
• Become part of the JCC Maccabi Family and build lifelong friendships 

Athlete Requirements 

• Must be Jewish defined as:
  • Having at least one Jewish parent and the athlete is being raised Jewish or:
  • A Jew by choice and is being raised Jewish
• Between the ages of 13-17 for the full duration of the program (August 2-7, 2026)
• Live in Broward County, FL

15U AGE DIVISION - Athletes ages 13-15 are eligible to compete

17U AGE DIVISON - Athletes ages 14-17 are eligible to compete
