Mania and Max Nudel Holocaust Learning Center

“The one who does not remember history
is bound to live through it again.”
~George Santayana

Experience the Power of Holocaust Education to Inspire Empathy and Action.

The Mania and Max Nudel Holocaust Learning Center offers transformative Holocaust education for students, adults and seniors of all backgrounds—especially those from non-Jewish communities. Through immersive, hands-on learning and innovative technology, we preserve Holocaust memory while empowering participants to stand up against hate, bigotry and bullying.

Our programming includes docent-led sessions, teacher training, student learning experiences and large-scale school assemblies that make history real and relevant. Highlights include:

  • Anne Frank’s Annex Recreation – A life-like replica that offers a powerful, personal connection to Anne Frank’s story
  • Virtual Reality Tours – Explore Auschwitz, the Anne Frank House and Kristallnacht through Oculus headsets
  • Art & Artifact Exhibits – Featuring authentic objects and artifacts from the Holocaust, as well as artwork by survivors and contemporary artists
  • Teacher Training Workshops – Equipping educators with tools to teach the Holocaust and promote inclusion in today’s classrooms
  • Student Learning Sessions – Hands-on programs for 5th–12th graders that encourage empathy and critical thinking
  • School Assemblies – Large, multimedia events that tackle topics like online hate and Holocaust remembrance
  • Speaker and Author Series – Dynamic talks with Holocaust survivors, scholars and contemporary voices
  • Free Community Commemorative Events – Yom HaShoah, Kristallnacht and International Holocaust Remembrance Day programs open to all

In partnership with Broward County Public Schools, local universities and libraries, we ensure Holocaust education is accessible, impactful and meaningful across communities.
