Sunrise Day Camp South Florida, provided by the David Posnack JCC, whose mission is to bring back the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings. It is a magical, summer escape where children can simply be kids—playing, singing, making friends, and creating unforgettable memories. 

Thanks to you, every camper can experience the freedom and fun of camp completely free of charge. Your donation also supports Sunrise On Wheels, which brings the magic of camp directly to hospital rooms throughout South Florida, transforming difficult days into moments of excitement with music, crafts, games, and laughter.

Your contribution empowers these programs to do more than brighten a day—it strengthens families, restores childhood, and provides vital emotional support to children navigating the challenges of cancer.

Together, we can make every step count. The 1st Annual Sunrise Walks South Florida will take place on February 1, 2026, bringing our community together to raise funds and awareness for Sunrise Day Camp South Florida and Sunrise on Wheels.

We’re calling on families, schools, youth groups, fraternities, sororities, local businesses, and community organizations to walk, fundraise, and share the Sunrise spirit. Every participant, sponsor, and supporter helps ensure that children facing life’s toughest challenges can experience the magic of camp.
