  • 1,700,000 killed by the Einsatzgruppen – mobile killing squads all over eastern Europe,
  • 3,205,000 murdered in the six death camps,
  • 450,000 died of hunger, disease and malnutrition in the various ghettoes,
  • the balance of 650,000 murdered in cold blood in the streets, in the work camps and in various Gestapo prisons.
  • Among these numbers is included 1,500,000 children under the age of 18
