swim-lessons-davie-flAt the David Posnack JCC we have our 25-yard, competition-size Baer swimming pool, the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital splash pad and a kiddie pool.  And don't forget to relax in our spa!

One of our pools is heated with our new geothermal heating system, so you can enjoy swimming all year long!

Pool Hours:
This summer, the pool will remain open Monday to Friday from 9AM to 3PM during Camp Kadima. Please be aware that campers may be sharing the pool during this time. Two lanes are reserved for members.
Monday  7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Friday 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

 
Come on in, the water's fine - our pool is heated with a geothermal system.

One swimming lane will be open for members to use at all times during regular pool hours.

Pool Reminders:

  • Per county health code, members must shower before entering the pool. 
  • The pool deck is slippery! Please walk, do not run.
  • Please do not drag the furniture on the pool deck.
  • Parents must supervise their children at all times.
  • Only flotation devices approved by the Coast Guard are allowed.
  • For safety reasons, when lifeguards are in the chair guarding, please do not distract them (ex. talk to them).

All Ages from six months and up • Available by appointment only
Open to both members and community

Julie Sevilla has over 27 years of experience teaching swimming to all ages, including an infant survival swimming lessons as wearly as six months old.  One of her specialties is working with children with special needs.  Julie also offers lifeguard and CPR/AED first aid classes.

Julie has a trained staff of lifeguards who are also certified to teach swimming lessons, allowing her to offer classes that fit your schedule.

Makeups will only be provided due to maintenance-related or weather-related pool closures. Classes must be completed within a year of the start date.
