Swim Lessons with AP Swimming

Teaching kids and adults to be comfortable and safe in the water

At AP Swimming, we believe that  learning to swim should be fun.  Our teaching style helps our students to become  comfortable  and confident in the water , allowing them to learn  while having fun.  However,  the main purpose of our program  is to teach our students  how to be safe in the water.

Owner/Head Instructor,  Andrew Phillips  is an Olympian who represented  Jamaica in  the 1984 LA Olympics. He became the first Jamaican and English Speaking Caribbean swimmer to reach an Olympic final. Andrew has  taught students to swim for 40 years.  His wealth of knowledge and experience has taken some of his students to the highest levels of the sport from High School Swimming all the way  to the Olympic and Paralympic games.
