SPORTS & WELLNESS FITNESS ATTENDANT(S)

REPORTS TO: YSAAC KAPLAN
STATUS:
 PART-TIME (Non-Exempt)

The Sports & Wellness Department is currently looking for afternoon and evening floor attendant(s) to join their team.  Various responsibilities include supervising fitness room, track, boxing room and yoga room, greet and assist all members in a friendly manner, spot/assist powerlifters in weight room, maintain cleanliness of exercise machines, equipment and fitness area, rack weights and perform other duties as assigned. Ability to lift 110+ lbs. required.

BAER- EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER & TEACHER ASSISTANTS

Reports to: EARLY CHILDHOOD DIRECTOR
Status/Hours: FULL-TIME / PART-TIME (Non-Exempt)

To provide a safe, nurturing and child-centered learning environment, developmentally appropriate to the age/growth level of the children assigned, where young children’s skills and self- concepts are enhanced, independence and exploration encouraged, and, individuality respected. To be able to communicate effectively with the parents of the children in your care and to work collegially with the faculty of the JCC early childhood educational center.

SWIM INSTRUCTOR

Reports to: Aquatics Director
Status/Hours: Part-Time (Non-Exempt)

This position is responsible for instructing swimming classes and water safety classes to the community including swim team and adapted aquatics. The Water Safety Instructor also performs duties as a lifeguard by safeguarding pool patrons through the enforcement of rules and regulations to prevent injuries. Administers first aid and CPR as needed. Reports to the Aquatic Director.

AFTER-SCHOOL SENIOR COUNSELOR

Reports to: Children & Family Services Director
Status/Hours: Part-time (Non-Exempt)

The David Posnack JCC After-School Adventure Program seeks motivated high school graduates with prior experience working with children to serve as a part-time senior counselor. You will be lead of the group by maintaining a professional attitude and loyalty to the program, leading weekly activities for the group and helping children strive to achieve their goals.
