Adventures in After-school Program

At the new Baer Family Early Childhood Learning Center

The Baer Family Center, in its newly renovated facility next to Temple Bat Yam in east Fort Lauderdale, offers an after-school program for grades kindergarten through 5th.  

Monday-Friday from 2:00-6:00 pm

Your child will have fun with her/his friends on our brand new playgrounds, making arts and crafts, playing games.  We also provide homework help and snacks.  

Our program follows all CDC, Department of Health and Broward County child care licensing rules and requirements.  

Children will be assigned to a small group and will not mix with other groups.  

Monthly Fees

Participants are billed monthly through December. A $35 late fee is charged if fees are not received by the 10th of each month.

After-School billing takes place on the 10th of the month for the FOLLOWING months: August 2022 through May 2023, for a total of ten months. All changes must be made in writing by the 20th day of the previous month. If you withdraw your child from the program and later wish to return, there is a $250 re-enrollment fee.

$50 Non-refundable registration fee collected at the time of registration.

$100 Non-refundable security fee billed with the August billing

Sibling Discount: A 10% discount is offered for each additional child. 

Early Release Days: Children are picked up at no extra charge.

Billing is a month in advance. After-School billing takes place on the 10th of the month for the following months: July 2023 through April 2024, for a total of ten months. There is a 30 day notice is required for changes in hours/days.

*Please pack a small umbrella or poncho to be kept in your Childs backpack for rainy days.

VACCINATION POLICY (Not Covid)
Only children who are immunized will be accepted into the preschool and after-school programs.
· Form 680 (the State of Florida Immunization Form) MUST be turned in prior to child’s attendance and will be kept on file at the J.
· These programs will no long accept children with religious exemptions from vaccination.
· Medical exemptions will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
