Susan & Saul Singer Early Childhood Learning Center

 

 Singer Early Childhood Learning Center has unsurpassed amenities. Educational space includes 21 classrooms with state-of-the-art furnishings and materials. We are guided by Jewish values. Infants and toddlers are housed in their cozy spot, The Nest. Children play and learn outside classrooms as well. The Mort & Sylvia Kalin Play Space includes the JSmart Technology Center, Cheryl Frost Reading Room, and media/library. Sensory explorations take place in our Flo & Hy Siegel Pan-to-Plate Culinary Institute. Children learn mind/body connections in The Joe DiMaggio Hospital Splash Pad, Baer pool areas, the Feig Family Playground, and indoor JPlay areas. Security systems are continuously monitored and updated. Children and parents make their forever friends here at the Singer Early Childhood Learning Center.

It is important that you are comfortable with our facilities and that is why we offer tours to our first-time parents.  We know you will love all we have to offer and we are excited to show you all the exciting things your child will get to be involved in here at our Singer Early Childhood Learning Center. Tours of our facilities may be scheduled: Tours are offered Monday through Friday. All individuals must have an appointment to tour the preschool. No walk-ins, please.

 Ages 2, 3 and PK/VPK (4 & 5) years
Transitions, our innovative preschool program, is designed specifically for children aged 2, 3, and PK/VPK who are exhibiting developmental delays or not yet meeting age-appropriate milestones.

The DPJCC participates in FES-UA, the Family Empowerment Scholarship for children ages 3 and older, with unique abilities.


The Nest Infant
Ages 2-12 Months by September 1, 2025.

• Developmental curriculum includes music, sensory play, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, storytelling, arts and crafts.

• Children are grouped by development and mobility.
• The Infant and Toddler Center offers a safe and loving environment for your child.
• Infant maximum ratio – 1 adult: 4 children
• Convenient and flexible hours


The Nest Toddler
Ages 13-24 Months by September 1, 2025.

• Children are placed by their development and mobility.

• Year-round program.
• Developmental curriculum includes music, sensory play, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, storytelling, and arts and crafts.
• Toddlers learn beginning social skills and enjoy their first structured learning experiences.
• Toddler maximum ratio 1 adult: 4 children
• Convenient and flexible hours.

TWO-YEAR-OLD PROGRAM
Child must be 2 years old by September 1, 2025.

• This program encourages self-help skills and introduces children to academic milestones.
• Students learn through sensory exploration as teachers encourage each child’s interests.
• Developmental curriculum includes science, social studies, water play/swim, holidays, early math, language/vocabulary skills, drama, and music.
• Half-day program available and includes snacks and lunch.


THREE-YEAR-OLD PROGRAM
Child must be 3 years old by September 1, 2025, and must be toilet trained.

• This program encourages self-help skills and introduces play-based learning centers.
• Students learn through sensory and cognitive exploration as teachers encourage each child’s interests
• Developmentally appropriate curriculum includes early literacy, math readiness, prewriting skills, music, library, art, science, STEM and swimming.


PRE-KINDERGARTEN
Child must be 4 years old by September 1, 2025, and must be toilet-trained (no exceptions).

We offer the Florida State-sponsored Voluntary Pre-K Program (VPK). The Singer Early Childhood Learning Center scored in the top 20% of the county for VPK readiness rate.

• Morning VPK program offers experiences in early literacy, math readiness, pre-writing skills, music, library, art, science, computers and Judaica.

• Afternoon, activities include music, creative arts, swimming, yoga, physical education, indoor and outdoor playgrounds
